Bruce Clodfelter

Bruce Clodfelter is a landscape architect, plantsman, environmentalist, and artist. After receiving his Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University in 1984, Bruce spent five years working at Landdesign, Inc., a Charlotte-based landscape architecture firm. Bruce then served as staff landscape architect for the City of Charlotte until 1996, when he started his own firm. Bruce’s garden designs have been featured in numerous local and national publications, including Fine Gardening Magazine,  Carolina Gardener, Charlotte Home Design, and The Charlotte Observer. In 2011 Bruce's garden was featured in the July issue of Better Homes and Gardens. In 1999 he won the prestigious Golden Trowel Award from Garden Design Magazine. Most recently, Bruce was awarded Honors by the American Society of Landscape Architecture, for two residential projects. Bruce’s greatest joy is found in exploring the dreams of others and bringing those dreams into reality.
